All those cunts on here who have repeatedly slagged Noble off a) Know fuck all about football b) Haven't actually been to a match to watch him play!

Pardew, the silly secretary shagging cunt, made a big mistake sending him on loan to Ipswich and so did fucking Saint Gareth Southgate not picking him for England in the Poyet season when he was also sublime.

Any true fan, should have been at his UP testimonial, full house, absolutely thousands raised for charity and a Deano overhead goal that showed us what might have been!!

Vexed isn’t that what I said? albeit in shockingly bad English!

Re: Noble to Fulham
That would be some shit if Noble soured on the club enough to want to leave and for what, one more year of chasing shadows. I cannot think of a worse indictment of our owners if he goes.

It's hard to say how much it hurts us on the pitch but at a minimum it makes the dressing room less stable.

Sir Alf 1:50 Tue Sep 29

He has been through more thin than thick with us and loyal to the bone

Re: Noble to Fulham
I understand his contract ends next summer and Fulham give him another year and an option for another with wages based on division. We won’t be extending.

He can play to 36 at Fulham or retire next summer with us.

Yeah but Noble going might indicate there is no end in sight and it's somehow going to get worse!

A bad sign?

Worse than selling the soul of the club and moving stadiums to an unfit for purpose one?

Re: Noble to Fulham
If this happened then it would be a catastrophically bad sign.

Any inkling of the sale of the club being true then no way he’d go. He would see it as if the wicked witch was dead.

Re: Noble to Fulham
It would be job suicide for Moyes to push Noble out or at least sanction the board's request to let him go.

It will only happen if he wants to go, but I can't see why he would do that right now.

He is Club Captain and has been a brilliant servant for the club. He is good enough for a dquad role for the next 12 months, but let's face it, his playing time with us is coming to the end.

The best solution would be for Moyes to continue to strengthen in the next couple of transfer windows and Noble's time will naturally just run it's course.

A coaching role would surely beckon, but I think he would be good enough to play on perhaps at say Ipswich Town FC or Colchester as it is only up the A12 for him. Or if he fancied an adventure then an MLS or A League team.

I don't think Tom Cairney, who would partner him if this ever happened, is the fastest either.

The Parker/Noble combo would insist on 3 hour receive in acres-pirouette-sideways pass drills for the squad every day of the week.

Re: Noble to Fulham
Looks to me like Parker could do with some help and Noble fits the bill in terms of experience and ability. But to be fair so do we need those qualities to be at hand.

Either way if Noble stays I see this being a transitional one for him as Moyes eventually phases him out.

Good luck to Noble.

Then his legacy would be to be relegated with a club that he had little affiliation with for one last pay day.

Hardly the Boys own stories ending is it?

Happy to see him play Sundays role of coming on to close games out (I’m guessing we won’t always be 3-0 up) or to fill gaps.
Plus as said we need his influence around the place.

It would be good to see a different team in the Premier league playing with 10 footballers plus a man with endless stamina chasing shadows all game.

Need to keep him at all costs. He the only West Ham left in that club.

Re: Noble to Fulham
I like him. We need passionate characters at the club like Nobes, Snodders, Fornals and Antonio. He's a perfectly good reserve at this level, since Fornals seems to have nailed down the number 10 role for now.

Re: Noble to Fulham
Would be stupid to let him go.

As said below he is happy to sit on the bench.

Too much of a big character to Not have him around.

People look at playing ability (which he does still have) and that alone. He would be massively missed in the dressing room.

Fans saying they will drive him to Fulham after countless years of service is just disrespectful.

Re: Noble to Fulham
Considering Noble has suggested himself in the past that he's disappointed west ham aren't in a position to not be playing a 33 year old week in week out, I thought this season was looking perfect for the respectful phase out of our skipper, who would then take on more of a cup role, and general behind the scenes mentor to the younger lads, before retirement and a coaching role.

Would be sad to see a surprise departure.
